PARK CITY
August 23
Trip Leader: Rob de Luca will be guiding, but you can contact Brenton for deets
Pedaling: 4:45pm
Description: This will be a delightful (mostly) decent from Empire Pass to Park City. This ride will be about 11 miles of all blue segments (intermediate), with roughly 600ft of climbing (sorry xc'ers, you'll have your chance on later rides). I have ridden very little of this route myself, but it looks amazing!
DEER VALLEY
September 3
Trip Leader: Brenton
Pedaling: 10am
Description: Park Day! $55 for an all-day lift pass and worth every penny. Deer Valley is home to (possibly) the most fun flow trail I’ve ever ridden. Definitely top 5. It’s also got some technical stuff that is really hard to find in the more popular Wasatch trail systems. If you haven’t ridden a park before, come try it out! After 3- 4 hours you’ll be more tired than the last time you beat yourself up on a xc trail, I promise.
W.O.W. TRAIL
September 13
Trip Leader: Brenton
Pedaling: 5:30pm
Description: If you haven't done it, I already know it's on your bucket list. So you may as well come check it off. This is a fantastic intermediate to advanced ride near Midway, UT. You can ride it out and back, but we'll plan on shuttling it for sake of time. Mark your calendars, because you won't want to miss this ride. A little climbing, and a lot of fast downhill with great views every time you stop to catch your breath.
PAYSON CANYON
October 1
Trip Leader: Brenton
Pedaling: 9:30am
Description: This will be a fun mix of intermediate XC with an advanced downhill-ish segment at the end. We'll be riding part of the Black Hawk and Jone's Ranch trail's to start, and then we'll end on Bennie Creek DH. Black Hawk and Jone's Ranch are more traditional alpine XC trails while Bennie Creek is a little more of a downhill segment (it's technically two-way, and still feels a little XC, but it's steeper with several advanced sections and features).
WOODS HOLLOW
October 5
Trip Leader: Brenton
Pedaling: 5:30pm
Description: Your local classic flowy fun. You’ve got a green or a blue option for the climb and a green, two blues, and a black jump line for downhill options. This is a choose your own adventure ride! For this ride we’ll take Woods Hollow up for lap 1, then everyone can choose their descent of choice: Rattle & Hum, Vertigo, Levitate, or Zooropa. For lap 2 we’ll take Maple Hollow up and similarly choose your own adventure for the downhill. Time permitting lap 3 will be every rider for themselves! But I’ll be doing Maple Hollow again and doing whichever sounds most fun at the top. Woot woot!!!!
CORNER CANYON
OCTOBER 13
Trip Leader: Brenton
Pedaling: 5:30pm
Description: Let's go!!! We'll do Clarks and beyond to the top of Jacob's Ladder. We'll descend Jacob's and connect up with the top of Rush for a classic run back to the parking lot.
